Does the Fountain of Youth exist?
Yes I believe it does, although not in the traditional way one might think.
Aging can happen faster or slower depending on what you do. For example, he said, if you see someone who’s on meth, they age so fast; they look like they’re 80 years old even though they may be 30 years old. We’ve also seen people that don’t look very well and then go on a health binge and then you see them two, three, six months later and they look younger, “Wow”, we say, “You look ten years younger!”. It’s an actual age reversal.
Although we may not have control over aging, it is something we can affect. We can speed it up by doing the wrong things or we can slow down by doing the right things. We can even reverse it to a certain extent. Because if someone is looking younger, his or her blood tests are showing that, everything is working better; that is an age reversal.
Dr. Junger continues:
We are so used to thinking that all the aches, pains and malfunctions of the body are inevitable. We have the attitude of, “What can we do? It’s the wear and tear.” It doesn’t have to be like this, he says, most people who are feeling this way can actually do something to not feel this way.
So what are some things that people could do to start feeling and looking younger?
I have to agree!
